Magic Kingdom Update: Adventureland Changes (PART 1)

As you might remember, two popular food & beverage locations found within Magic Kingdom's Adventureland recently swapped their respective locations.
In the meantime, work continues around the park's hub, where a few sections of the central plaza are still behind walls, while other areas are now open to Guest. Finally, we noticed something interesting in the Fantasyland Forest. As always, we invite you to join us as we take a look around the Magic Kingdom Park.

First of all, work continues along Main Street U.S.A.:

Heading to the hub:

The landscaping seen in this area is truly outstanding, even though we do agree on the fact that a few more mature trees would really make a world of difference. Take a look at the areas now open to Guests:

The new walkways are very spacious:

Guests also seem to appreciate the new rest areas. They become FastPass+ areas at night:

Walls are now up in front of the former Rose Garden:

A section of the central plaza is again open to Guests:

The Partners statue is also back:

More work still needs to be done:

The relocated Sunshine Tree Terrace:

  1. Whiles more mature trees would look nicer, the new areas were added mostly for FP+ firework viewing areas. Trees and fireworks don't mix when it comes to viewing and they are not going to create bad viewing areas in their special FP+ areas.

At least they filled the area with wonderful looking plants and various flowers.

  2. Well said and I totally agree. Kids on shoulders and iPads lighting spoil the fireworks enough without a waking great tree in the way too! I wish they'd make one fast pass area an iPad free seated zone only!

  3. I Agree. There is nothing more annoying than someone stood in front of you holding up an ipad to video Wishes. Why can't they just enjoy the moment. Kids on shoulders is extremely annoying too!

  4. A whole forest will soon bloom.
    A forest of selfie sticks.
