Magic Kingdom: Slow Season Approaching (PART 2)

Welcome to PART 2 of this Magic Kingdom photo-report (PART 1 can be found HERE).

Let's continue to take a look around Adventureland:

The Jungle Cruise is currently closed for refurbishment:

Here's what's going on behind the walls:

From the stairs:

Moving on:

Larger double gates have been installed in the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction:

Only one side of the loading area has them. Will they introduce wheelchair-accessible boats? This might look like a sing of things to come, even though the ride includes a (small) drop. Would that work in this case?:

Speaking of the ride in general, it looks like the lighting has been... enhanced:

It actually looked too bright. So bright that you could see the ceiling:

Oh, and none of these photos were taken with flash. No need to be concerned! :-)

Leaving Adventureland:

Next stop: Frontierland:

We didn't really notice this before, but you can see Splash Mountain's show-building from the exit:

We noticed the rockwork before, and it looks great:

...but this does not:

Minor work being done behind the Toy Story meet-and-greet:

Some more work being done on the roof of the Briar Patch:

Yeeehaw!:

  1. How amazing would it be if they also plussed the Jungle Cruise like they are doing in Asia.
    Well, I can dream, right.
Very disappointing about the pirates lightning. Hope they'll fix it soon.
