Magic Kingdom General Update - April 18 (PART 3)

Welcome to PART 3 of this new Magic Kingdom Park general update (PART 2 can be found here).

Here's another view of the section of the Swiss Family Treehouse behind tarps, from above:

The tree offers some great views of the hub area and Tomorrowland:

Unfortunately, it looks like Disney may have to soon install more nets...

One of the branches of the tree has a huge crack on it:

Notice that it is holding what looks like a very heavy planter... It's just an accident waiting to happen:

The fact that the crack goes all around the branch make the matter even worse:

Anyway, let's move on...

Work continues on multiple sections of the Adventureland Veranda:

Passing through the central hub, we saw these:

Very nice to see all these animals around the park...:

...and the gorgeous flowers!:

Facing the future:

Tomorrowland:

Still working on those themed covers:

Okay, let's avoid saying anything about this. We don't want to offend anyone that may actually like this attraction:.

Astro Orbiter should receive a refurbishment soon:

While on the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover, we noticed that the model of the City of Tomorrow is now behind tarps. Some websites say that it is just being refurbished:

Oh, we also got to see Space Mountain with the lights on:

Sorry for the low quality, but - once again - we didn't use the flash since it was an indoor location:

  1. I've been on the people mover while the lights are on, but I'm curious as to why this happens... Does Space Mountain have to be not running?
