PHOTOS: Imagineers Test Sample Fireworks for Potential Use in New “Harmonious” Show
As work continues on the multi-year transformation of EPCOT, Cast Members and Imagineers are reaching new milestones in the development of the many exciting new experiences announced for the park.
Disney Parks Live Entertainment recently took part in testing sample fireworks for potential use in the “Harmonious” nighttime spectacular, currently in development. It was an important moment in the ongoing production of the show – and one that would not have been possible without the experience, hard work and dedication of these incredible teams.
Featuring an innovative toolkit of massive floating set pieces, custom-built LED panels, choreographed moving fountains, lights, pyrotechnics and lasers, “Harmonious” will celebrate how the music of Disney inspires people the world over. The show will highlight a stream of familiar Disney tunes reinterpreted by a diverse group of artists from around the globe.
Work will continue over the coming months, as teams maintain ongoing development and infrastructure work for the innovative production. In the meantime, Guests can catch an early glimpse of concepts for the show by visiting Walt Disney Imagineering Presents the Epcot Experience, located in the Odyssey Events Pavilion at EPCOT.
