Stitch’s Great Escape, Primeval Whirl, and Rivers of Light Permanently Closing at Walt Disney World

When Walt Disney World's four theme parks officially reopened to Guests, several experiences, attractions, and shows did not reopen with the park for a variety of reasons. While some of these locations will eventually reopen, the Walt Disney World Resort officially confirmed that Primeval Whirl, Rivers of Light: We Are One, and Stitch's Great Escape will not reopen.

Primeval Whirl and Rivers of Light: We Are One were just some of the offerings available at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The park continues to offer a wide range of attractions and entertainment, including Avatar Flight of Passage, Kilimanjaro Safaris, Donald’s Dino Boat Bash, and Discovery Island Drummers.

Additionally, while Stitch’s Great Escape (which has not operated for some time) is permanently closed, Magic Kingdom Park Guests can currently see Stitch at the Rockettower Plaza Stage throughout the day.
