Universal Orlando Presents COVID-19 Re-Opening Plans, Theme Parks May Reopen in June

Earlier this afternoon, Universal Orlando Resort submitted reopening plans outlining all the safety measures that will be in place once the theme parks reopen to Guests. During the video presentation, it was revealed that Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, and even Volcano Bay could reopen to Guests as soon as the first week of June.


If this reopening plan is officially approved by the state, the theme parks would reopen first to Team Members on June 1-2, then select Guests (including Annual Passholders) would be allowed to visit on June 3-4, with all three parks ultimately reopening to the general public as soon as June 5, 2020.
