Old Town Restaurants and Shops Reopen to Guests with Reduced Capacity
Earlier today, Old Town reopened select restaurants and shops to Guests. Here's the official announcement:
In accordance with the Florida Governor’s Phase 1 re-opening plan, many Old Town retail establishments that were forced to close in accordance with the Shelter in Place mandate will open Monday, May 4. The safety of guests, tenants, and employees remains the number one priority. Old Town and all merchants will follow CDC recommendations and state, local, and national guidelines.
• Restaurants previously doing take out and/or delivery will now be able to allow an interior capacity of 25%. At select locations, outdoor seating will be provided with at least six feet between tables. Retail merchants will also open with strict 25% interior occupancy levels maintained at all times.
• Business hours have been limited during Phase 1 to 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. to allow for additional daily cleaning measures overnight and before the property opens. Old Town will regularly sanitize high-touch areas such as tables, benches, restrooms, hand railings, vending machines and doorknobs. All merchants are required to follow sanitation guidelines throughout the day and after closing to ensure customer safety.
• Osceola County requires everyone to wear masks or some sort of facial coverings when not practicing social distancing. Old Town employees will wear masks while working and will take breaks to frequently wash hands as well as utilize hand sanitation stations.
During this time guests visiting will be allowed to park for free seven days a week. Old Town continues to offer family-friendly and affordable shopping and dining options. Free weekly event, including live music, have been postponed during the Phase 1 and 2 reopening plans, but will resume once the state allows.
