Walt Disney World Resort Plans to Reopen Theme Parks in Phases Starting July 11

Earlier this morning, Jim McPhee (Senior Vice President of Operations, Walt Disney World) presented the reopening plans for the Walt Disney World Resort during the Orange County Economic Recovery Task Force meeting.

During the meeting, it was announced that the company plans on reopening the Magic Kingdom Park and Disney's Animal Kingdom on July 11, while EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios are expected to reopen just a few days later, on July 15. As a reminder, these plans will have to be approved by the State before they can move forward.
