This Week in Disney History: March 9-15, 2020

There’s always a great, big, beautiful tomorrow at The Walt Disney Company, because every day is tied to a milestone in the heritage and rich history of a company that has been entertaining millions of people every year. Published every week, this interesting series features highlights from all the divisions of The Walt Disney Company. Let's see what happened this week:

Princesses and princes throughout the land, come gather! On March 12, 2013, the Fantasy Faire opened it’s gates in Disneyland Park, welcoming royals and visiting Guests alike into this mini-village. Stroll around a medieval courtyard, enjoy a “renaissance vaudeville” style show at the Royal Theater, or meet beloved Princesses from Disney classics.

Did you know? The tallest tower in the Fantasy Faire village is called Troubadour Tower. On a window ledge next to it, Guests may spot Figaro, the famously fluffy cat from Pinocchio, sleeping beside a bird cage. Every once in awhile, the bird might sing you a song- and wake Figaro at the same time!
