LEGOLAND Florida Resort to Be Closed March 16-31 Due to Coronavirus Outbreak

Yesterday afternoon, LEGOLAND Florida announced that the resort - including the theme park and the adjacent water park - will be closed to Guests from March 16 to March 31, 2020.

Out of an abundance of caution, LEGOLAND Florida Resort will temporarily close its theme park and water park. The closure will be effective at the close of business on Sunday, March 15 through March 31, 2020.

LEGOLAND accommodations will remain open during this time.

We have flexible options in place for guests who have booked travel packages or tickets with us. Guests can email llf.experience@legoland.com for more information. The health and safety of our staff remains our top priority. Employees will continue to work on site as scheduled.

Is LEGOLAND Florida Resort Closed?
LEGOLAND Florida Resort will temporarily close its theme park and water park starting Monday, March 16 through Tuesday, March 31, 2020. LEGOLAND accommodations will remain open during the park closure.

When will LEGOLAND reopen?
While we will continue to monitor this situation closely, LEGOLAND Theme Park and Water Park are scheduled to reopen on Wednesday, April 1, 2020.

What is LEGOLAND Florida Resort doing to ensure guest health and safety during coronavirus concerns?
Out of an abundance of caution, LEGOLAND Florida Resort will temporarily close its theme park and water park. The closure will be effective at the close of business on Sunday, March 15 through March 31, 2020. LEGOLAND accommodations will remain open during this time.

The health and safety of our guests and our staff is always our top priority and we will take all necessary precautions to ensure their continued welfare. At our resorts and attractions, we have implemented enhanced cleaning regimes, increased the availability of hand sanitization products and will adopt recommended practices and government recommended guidelines as appropriate, to maintain a safe environment.

How can I change the date of my tickets?
Ticket dates can be changed by emailing llf.experience@legoland.com with your name, order number and new dates that you wish to visit. There is no rush to select your new visit dates now. As long as you contact our Guest Experience team by the end of the year, they will be able to adjust your visit dates with no additional fee.

Will I get a refund on my tickets? / How do I get a refund?
If you have tickets dated between March 16 and March 31, 2020, you may email llf.experience@legoland.com with your name and order number. Please understand that our team is working through an unprecedented number of reschedules and refunds will be issued as soon as possible.

How can I change the date of my vacation/hotel stay?
Vacations dates/hotel stays can be changed by emailing llf.experience@legoland.com with your name, confirmation number and new dates that you wish to visit. Priority will be given to guests with the most immediate vacation dates.

Will I get a refund for my vacation? / How do I get a refund?  
Guests with a vacation stay during our park closure period, March 16 and March 31, 2020, can receive a refund on their vacation by emailing llf.experience@legoland.com with their name and confirmation number.

How long will it take to get my refund?
Our teams are focused on first addressing the needs of customers whose travel is within the next 72 hours and those impacted by the change in travel restrictions from Europe. To allow us to focus on assisting these guests, we are asking those who do not have travel in the next 72 hours to wait and contact us closer to your vacation. Due to the incredibly high volume of traffic on our website, customers may experience delays in response time, and we recognize that this is frustrating. The most up-to-date information will be available on our website, LEGOLAND.com/florida.

What if I booked my vacation from another seller/website?
If guests’ travel plans were arranged by a third-party, including travel agents, travel-booking websites, or other businesses independent of LEGOLAND Parks and Resorts or LEGOLAND Vacations, they will need to contact those suppliers directly to understand their policies and any applicable fees for changing or cancelling a reservation.

How does the closure of LEGOLAND Florida Resort impact Annual Passes?
