On Nov. 5, 1990, Disney’s Yacht Club Resort opened at Walt Disney World Resort. Designed by Robert A.M. Stern, the resort is themed after New England shore hotels of the 1880s. The nautical ambiance seen throughout welcomes Guests to sit back, relax and unwind in the resort’s elegance.
