New Fireworks Show Testing on October 24 at the Magic Kingdom Park

As the Magic Kingdom Park gets ready for the winter season, audio and fireworks testing will take place between 6 and 7 a.m. on the morning of Thursday, October 24. These tests should last for approximately 30 minutes. As a result, there will likely be noise impacts at nearby resorts (including the Contemporary, Grand Floridian, Polynesian Village and Wilderness Lodge) and pyrotechnic effects visible from the park.

Additionally, from 5:45-6:45 a.m., a portion of Floridian Way will be closed to all traffic. This road closure is the same that Guests are accustomed to during nightly performances of Happily Ever After.

The new fireworks show will be performed during hard-ticket events in November and December.
