This week “Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular” celebrates 30 years!
On August 25, 1989, “Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular” had its grand opening at Disney-MGM Studios now Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Thrilling stunts and special effects are presented by a trained cast, aided by a few volunteers from the audience, on a gigantic movie set.

2011 – The second D23 Expo begins in Anaheim, California

1928 – “Hot Dog,” the final Oswald the Lucky Rabbit short produced by Disney, debuts

Aug. 21 
1992 – Asia’s first Disney Store opens in Yokohama, Japan

1987 – The Grand Lobby Tower was raised from the ground to its final location atop Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa

1999 – Hollywood Scoops, an ice cream shop, opens at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

1989 – Ewok Village opened at the entrance to the Star Toursattraction in Disney-MGM Studios (now Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World Resort)

1985 – Disneyland Park welcomes its 250 millionth Guest
1989 – Grand opening of “Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular” at Walt Disney World Resort
