This week: On June 30, 2018, Toy Story Land opened at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Within the land, Guests can experience three attractions: Slinky Dog Dash, Alien Swirling Saucers, and Toy Story Mania!, and dine at Woody’s Lunchbox.

June 24
1893 – Roy Oliver Disney, Walt Disney’s older brother, is born
1994 – The Electric Umbrella restaurant opens at Epcot

June 25
1967 – America the Beautiful (Circle-Vision 360 film) opens at Disneyland Park

June 26
2006 – Pirates of the Caribbean officially re-opens at Disneyland Park with Captain Jack Sparrow and Barbossa Audio-Animatronics® figures added to the attraction

June 27
1986 – Big Thunder Ranch opens at Disneyland Park
2016 – Frontera Cocina Restaurant opens at Disney Springs

June 28
1988 – Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa opens
1991 – Mickey’s Star Traders merchandise shop opens at Magic Kingdom Park
2018 – Terralina Crafted Italian Restaurant opens at The Landing in Disney Springs

June 29
1996 – Mickey’s Toontown Fair opens at Magic Kingdom Park

June 30
1976 – The Kingdom Queen ferryboat joins the Walt Disney World Resort fleet
2018 – Toy Story Land opens at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
