PHOTOS: Disney Skyliner Station Continues to Take Shape Near Hollywood Studios

Park hopping has never been easy at the Walt Disney World Resort. While there's a multitude of transportation systems to choose from, Disney buses have gained a bad reputation in the past, and the Walt Disney World monorail system is far from being in great shape. Fortunately, not all is lost, as a new gondola system is currently under construction between Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios.

We believe that the new Disney Skyliner might be one of Walt Disney World's best additions, as it will be a continuously-loading transportation system that will link four resorts and two theme parks (we truly hope it will be expanded in the future).

While we wait for it to open, let's take a look around the parking lot of Disney's Hollywood Studios to check on the progress that has been made so far in the future site of the Disney Skyliner gondola station.

As you can see, the new station is definitely taking shape now:

The cable that will carry the gondolas is still being installed:

Work also continues in the area that will soon become the new bus loop of Disney's Hollywood Studios:

An additional transportation system is definitely needed...
