Walt Disney World Roadways to Be Impacted by Construction on September 6-7

Guests visiting Central Florida's theme parks and attractions should keep in mind that select roadways around the Walt Disney World Resort will be impacted by construction this week. Continue reading to learn more about these impacts and keep in mind that they are subject to change due to weather conditions or operational needs.


Northbound World Drive exit ramp to Vista Boulevard closed tonight (September 6)
The northbound World Drive exit ramp to Vista Boulevard will be closed from 10 p.m.–6 a.m. the nights of Thursday, Sept. 6 into the following morning. There will be no ramp access during this time. Drivers should plan to access property by way of Epcot Center Drive, Bonnet Creek Parkway, or Buena Vista Drive.

World Drive closed overnight (September 6)
World Drive—between Disney’s Contemporary Resort and Disney’s Wilderness Lodge—will be closed from 1 a.m.–6 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 6. Drivers exiting Disney’s Contemporary Resort will be directed north, behind Magic Kingdom Park. Drivers traveling north on World Drive will be directed onto Seven Seas Drive.

Southbound World Drive (near Seven Seas Drive) closed nightly Sept. 6–7
Southbound World Drive will be closed at Seven Seas Drive beginning at Magic Kingdom Park close through 6 a.m. the following morning. During this time, drivers will be rerouted through westbound Seven Seas Drive.

Please remember to always travel safely throughout property and remain alert, as roadways continue to change and grow along with the Walt Disney World Resort.
