Busch Gardens Tampa Bay to Reveal More Details About New Ride Coming in 2019

2019 promises to be an incredibly exciting year as almost all of Central Florida's theme park will open new rides, attractions, and shows. Busch Gardens Tampa Bay appeared to be one of the few parks not open anything new next year.... until now.

According to some rumors, an all-new thrill ride (a compact roller coaster very similar to SeaWorld San Diego's Electric Eel) could be installed in the area of the park formerly occupied by Tanganyika Tidal Wave.

While there have been no official announcements about this new addition, the park plans on releasing some "wild news" about an upcoming project on Wednesday, September 12 at 10 a.m.

We will be visiting the park that day to learn more about the future of Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, so be sure to stay tuned to Orlando Theme Park News and follow our social media pages.

  1. It's about time! Busch Gardens is desperately needing more attractions to replace all the ones they've closed, though I wish it could be something other than another roller coaster. Hopefully it'll be compact enough to fit some kind of indoor attraction next to it for 2020/2021...
