This week: 
Kim Possible, an animated television series debuted on Disney Channel on June 7, 2002. The show, which ran for 65 episodes features teenager Kim Possible as she balances her personal life (including school, boys, and shopping) with her duties going on missions to save the world from evil villains. Voices include Christy Carlson Romano (Kim), Will Friedle (Ron Stoppable), Nancy Cartwright (Rufus), Kirsten Storms (Bon-Bon Rockweiler), Rider Strong (Brick).

June 4
1990 – The Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel opens at Walt Disney World Resort
1990 – Bengal Barbecue opens at Disneyland Park
1991 – Company D opens in the Team Disney Building at the Walt Disney World Resort
2011 – Betty Taylor, Disney Legend and “Slue Foot Sue” from “Golden Horseshoe Revue” at Disneyland Park, dies at age 91

June 5
1999 – The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh opens at Magic Kingdom Park
1999 – “The Hunchback of Notre Dame” stage musical has its world premiere as “Der Glöckner Von Notre Dame” at the Stella Musical Theater at Potsdamer Platz in Berlin, Germany

June 6
1952 – The animated short “Susie, the Little Blue Coupe” debuts
1959 – Submarine Voyage opens at Disneyland Park
1974 – Walt Disney Pictures releases “Herbie Rides Again”
1987 – If You Could Fly replaces If You Had Wings in Tomorrowand at Magic Kingdom Park
1993 – Les Pirouettes de Vieux Moulin (The Loops of the Old Mill) opened in Fantasyland at Disneyland Paris

2011 – “My Yard Goes Disney” television series premieres on HGTV
2014 – Marketplace Co-Op opens at Downtown Disney Marketplace (now the Marketplace at Disney Springs) at the Walt Disney World Resort

1946 – “Squatter’s Rights” (Pluto cartoon short) debuts
1975 – Mission to Mars opens at Magic Kingdom Park
1979 – “Footloose Fox” featurette debuts
1988 – The Manatee Education and Observation Exhibit opens at The Living Seas in Epcot
2002 – The animated series “Kim Possible” debuts on Disney Channel
2008 – The Wave… of American Flavors (formerly The Wave) opens at Disney’s Contemporary Resort at the Walt Disney World Resort
2012 – Ghirardelli Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop opens at Disney California Adventure Park

1956 – Walt Disney Pictures releases “The Great Locomotive Chase”
2001 – “Jett Jackson: The Movie” a Disney Channel Original Movie premieres
200 – “Johnny Kapahala: Back on Board” a Disney Channel Original Movie premieres
2010 – “Pretty Little Liars” debuts on ABC Family

June 9
1934 – Donald Duck makes his debut in the cartoon “The Wise Little Hen”
1939 – “Beach Picnic” (Donald Duck cartoon) debuts
1950 – “Puss-Café” (Pluto cartoon) debuts
1962 – “Meet Me at Disneyland” summer television series airs on Los Angeles independent station KTTV
1984 – “Laserphonic Fantasy” premieres at Epcot
1984 – ”Disney Family Album” series premiers on The Disney Channel
1997 – Bistro de Paris becomes Les Chefs de France at Epcot
2006 – Disney•Pixar releases “Cars”
2007 – Crush’s Coaster, Cars Quatre Roues Rallye opens in the Toon Studio area of Walt Disney Studios Park at Disneyland Paris
2012 – WonderGround Gallery opens in the Downtown Disney District at the Disneyland Resort

June 10
1960 – Pack Mules Through Nature’s Wonderland opens in Frontierland at Disneyland Park
2005 – “Go Figure” a Disney Channel Original Movie premieres
2014 – “Chasing Life” series debuts on ABC Family
