Ready, set, play! The all-new Toy Story Land will officially open to Guests this Staurday at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The new land will give guests the sensation of shrinking to the size of a toy as they explore Andy’s backyard and see their favorite Toy Story characters larger than life.

Whether it’s an exciting ride on a family-friendly coaster, a spin on a toy rocket or a 3D adventure through carnival midway games, guests will be immersed in the playful world of toys.

DID YOU KNOW?
  • More than 400 toy blocks fill Andy’s backyard.
  • In Toy Story Land, Andy’s footprint is about 25 feet long or the equivalent of a size 240 shoe.
  • It would take a Green Army Man roughly 12 steps just to travel the length of one of Andy’s shoeprints.
  • You would need a backpack the size of a school bus to carry the Buzz and Woody figures that tower over Toy Story Land.
  • The weight of the Slinky Dog Dash track and support columns weighs almost as much as 125,000 gallons of milk.
  • Together Rex and the Jenga Tower are as tall as 7½ Green Army Men standing on top of one another.

  1. The theming is great but they really need to update those Woody and Buzz costumes, they look goofy as hell.

  2. a kids coaster, a tilt-a-whirl, one small food stand and a souvenir kiosk. LOL Disney can put anything out and people fall for it. You think they would have a themed indoor restaurant, a gift shop and another attraction. What a waste.

  3. Best part of all the bad talk is that Disney is laughing all the way to the bank. Yes they could have added another attraction of 2 and a sit down dining experience, but guess what??? there's room for it to the right when they build out the 2nd Phase of Pixar land that will stretch out to include the Incredibles with the Rockin Rollercoaster rethemed, plus the whole Disney Hollywood Studios/ Star Wars Launch Bay will be a teardown and refresh of Pixar land... Don't be short sighted...

    1. Star Wars?? "Let the past die." There laughing at the people who go there and pay $100.00 plus for a sub par park.

    2. Apparently you didn't understand. Once Star Wars opens there is going to be ALOT of land directly to the right between Toy Story and the Rockin Rollercoaster. The Launch Bay Area will be torn down... Silly As I said Disney is Laughing to the Bank and so is my stock... Bought at $15 and now runs at $100. Shouldn't be shortsighted...
