PHOTOS: Infinity Falls Water Ride Construction Continues at SeaWorld Orlando

The new Infinity Falls ride continues to take shape at SeaWorld Orlando. Located in the area of the park formerly occupied by the Sea Gardens, this attraction features multiple rafts that will twist and turn through a lush jungle environment inspired by the rainforests of South America. The new ride ends with a 40-foot drop, the world’s tallest drop for a river rapids ride.

Let's take a look around the area where construction crews continue to work on this new experience:

The pathway leading to the new themed area is being widened:

A couple of interactive experiences will be located just outside the new South America-themed land:

This will likely be a shop or an interactive experience:

A new canopy will soon be installed in this area. There's Guests will hop on bikes that will trigger some special effects involving water (click here to see an artistic rendering of this new offering):

It seems that the fountain in the pond behind the new Harmony Village was impacted by construction:

Infinity Fall's iconic drop can be seen from the walkway next to the construction zone:

It's going to be a very exciting ride!:

The arches seen in the photos below are located above what appears to be the ride's loading area:

The area will feature plenty of rockwork:

Let's now take a peek above the walls to see if we can spot a few more details:

It looks like this structure will include a water feature:

SeaWorld is doing a truly amazing job by building a long water ride in a relatively small space:

  1. Looks like were looking at a mid August opening date. Lots of work to be done.

    1. Yes, it is very likely that this new attraction will open later than we thought (probably late July/early August, unless inclement weather impacts construction).
