Islands of Adventure Update: Wandering Around Jurassic Park

Theme park fans have a lot to look forward to in the coming years. Next year alone, Central Florida's theme parks will open more than 10 new experiences, and one of these will be opening at Islands of Adventure. Additionally, the park could receive at least two Jurassic World-themed rides in 2020 or 2021. The excitement is certainly building up.

This evening we will tour Islands of Adventure to see what's new since our last visit. Let's take a look:

First of all, multiple cranes can be seen behind the walls surrounding the future site of the new family coaster that is being built next to the Hogsmeade train station:

These walls will be around for at least another year:

  1. I guess?
But...where was Disney when Marvel was first handing out the rights?
I mean Universal took a chance and it worked out well for them.
Disney waited until AFTER Marvel had become such a huge series of hits.
It's Disney you should be upset with, for waiting so long.
