New Nighttime Show Coming Soon to Universal Studios Florida

Earlier today, Universal officialy announced that a new nighttime lagoon show is coming soon to Universal Studios Florida! This spectacular show will include new animation featuring characters from favorite Universal attractions, a new storyline, new music, lighting, and special effects. It will take Universal’s Cinematic Spectacular – 100 Years of Movie Memories, which is now closed, to an entirely new level. This is one of many new experiences coming to Universal Orlando in the future.


Even though it's still unclear how different the new show will be from the former Universal’s Cinematic Spectacular – 100 Years of Movie Memories, we really hope to see an improved product that's on par with the great nighttime spectaculars that Disney has been creating for decades. Knowing that the new show will include more special effects is definitely promising...

Sounds to me like the execs at Universal saw the Ignite show at SeaWorld and realized just how lame their own show was by comparison ;) I'm glad to hear the show's getting an upgrade; it's about time they replace it with something befitting Comcast's budget and Universal's skyrocketing admission prices. Now if only Islands of Adventure could find something to use its enormous lagoon and numerous waterfront viewing areas for...

  2. Will it ever be as good as the Night time Stunt Spectacular Show of the late 90s ?
    That show with speedboats, explosions, gunfire , lights and sirens was something special.
    Just saying....................
