This November, a new adaption of “Beauty and the Beast” will debut aboard the Disney Dream. The tale will be brought to life in a show that celebrates the romance and adventure of the live-action film and the charm of the animated feature. “What’s really unique about this version is that we’ve taken a lot of inspiration from the live-action film. We’re working to create these puppet pieces that will work with actors, and the actors and the puppets will become one,” said Producer Kelly Benton.
“The actor is presented as the spirit of their previous life prior to becoming the object that they currently are,” said Jeff Conover, Puppetry & Articulated Character Development Director for Disney Parks Live Entertainment.
