Universal Studios Update: Fast & Furious, Terminator, and More

Universal Studios Florida continues to evolve at a very fast pace. Almost all of the classic Universal rides and shows are now gone. Kongfrontation, Back to the Future: The Ride, JAWS, Twister, Earthquake, and many other attractions are just a thing of the past, and Terminator 2:3D will soon follow them, as the building it occupies will soon feature an entirely new live show (click here to learn more). Let's take a look around the park as we wait for more exciting announcements.

The Universal globe greets us outside the park's gates:

Our first stop will be Production Central:

We look forward to a time when we'll finally be able to enjoy a good nighttime show at Universal Studios:

The Fast & Furious facade continues to take shape in San Francisco:

The whole area already looks great now, but we are sure it will look even better once more trees are planted nearby:

    2. Thanks. Has anyone gone to Halloween Horror Nights? I heard it's the best thing all year that Universal does?

    3. If you like haunted houses, sure. The lines are long (2+ hours is not uncommon) and it will still be HOT even at night, lined up close with hundreds of other people. It's not for everyone.

  2. One thing that I found odd was the show building. If you weren't paying attention you can easily miss The Terminator show because it looks like from the outside just a regular fake building. Other then the signs in front of the building, there is no proper theming to it to get your attention.

  3. I think Terminator was a great concept - live action and 3D. I will miss it because I think it was ahead of its time when launched, although has sadly fallen behind compared to things such as King Kong: Skull Island. I will be interested to see what will be replacing it.
