Select Walt Disney World Locations Closed Until Further Notice

Over the past few days, Cast and Team Members at the Walt Disney World Resort, Universal Orlando, LEGOLAND Florida, and other theme parks and attractions have done an outstanding job assisting Guests to ensure they had a positive experience while a major storm impacted the Central Florida area. Due to the extreme winds and rain caused by hurricane Irma, some of Walt Disney World's parks, attractions, and resorts are still closed until further notice. Continue reading to learn more.


THEME PARKS:
  • Magic Kingdom Park is OPEN.
  • Epcot is OPEN.
  • Disney’s Hollywood Studios is OPEN.
  • Disney’s Animal Kingdom is OPEN.
WATER PARKS:
  • Blizzard Beach remains CLOSED until further notice.
  • Typhoon Lagoon remains CLOSED until further notice.
OTHER DISNEY ATTRACTIONS:
  • Disney Springs is OPEN.
  • ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex is OPEN.
  • Disney’s Miniature Golf Courses is OPEN.
DISNEY TRANSPORTATION 
  • Bus Transportation has resumed NORMAL OPERATION.
  • Monorails are OPERATING.
  • Sassagoula River Cruise Ferry Boat Service is CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE.
  • Friendship Boats are CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE.
LYNX TRANSPORTATION 
  • LYNX bus transportation has resumed normal operation, however some routes may experience delays.
DISNEY RESORTS
All Disney Resorts have resumed normal operation, with the following exceptions:
  • Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground will remain closed while assessments to the property are completed.
  • The Treehouse Villas at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort are tentatively scheduled to reopen on Sunday, Sept. 17.
  • Disney’s Vero Beach Resort is on track to reopen Thursday, Sept. 14.
  • Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort continues to be closed.
SPECIAL EVENTS
  • Disney Vacation Club will host Moonlight Magic as planned on Wednesday, Sept. 13 from 9:30 p.m. – 1:00 a.m. at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
DISNEY CRUISE LINE
The Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy will sail as scheduled on Friday and Saturday.
