New Copper Creek Villas & Cabins Now Open at Wilderness Lodge
Earlier today, the brand-new Copper Creek Villas & Cabins officially opened to Guests at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. Located just around the river bend from Magic Kingdom Park, and inspired by the legendary mining and railroad history of the Pacific Northwest, Members and Guests at Copper Creek Villas & Cabins will marvel at the fun Disney touches, including artwork that pays homage to the Carolwood Pacific railroad and railway beams that accent the area above the kitchen spaces.
Offering one of the widest ranges of accommodations found at Walt Disney World Resort, Copper Creek Villas & Cabins features 184 nature-inspired vacation homes. Deluxe Studios offer room for up to four guests, while the larger one- and two-bedroom Villas and three-bedroom Grand Villas seamlessly blend the comforts of home with the wonders of the wilderness to create a tranquil retreat for families of any size. Each Villa is thoughtfully designed with today’s families in mind offering full kitchens, expanded storage space for belongings, and private patios or balconies with scenic views.
And that doesn’t even take into account the Cascade Cabins. These 26 all-new luxurious waterfront accommodations are right along the edges of Bay Lake and feature two bedrooms, two baths, floor-to-ceiling windows, exposed wooden beams and an interior-exterior stone-hearth fireplace that brings the beauty of the outdoors in. Offering plenty of room for families, one of the best parts is that Guests can return “home” from an exciting day at the nearby theme parks to relax in the built-in hot tub or enjoy an al fresco dinner at the picnic table in the enclosed patio area.
While the brand-new Villas are amazing, Guests will also marvel at all of the amenities and activities available just steps away at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. Members and Guests will have shared access to it all, including the recently opened Geyser Point Bar & Grill and Roaring Fork – the quick-service restaurant that recently reopened with a refreshed look and expanded outdoor seating.
The brand-new Boulder Ridge Cove Pool, part of Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, offers Guests a modern-day swimmin’ hole featuring a zero-depth entry point, while the new Salon by the Springs boasts pool-side manicures, pedicures and hair services. Add in a brand-new sports court, BBQ pavilions and a refurbished fire pit and movie area and you’ve got a vacation experience Guests will never forget.
