Pirate Adventure Cruise No Longer Available at Port Orleans

Beginning from today (April 1, 2017), Disney’s Port Orleans Resort - Riverside will no longer offer the Bayou Pirate Adventure Cruise. Guests that have reservations for the Bayou Pirate Adventure Cruise from April 1 through the beginning of September will be contacted in advance by the Walt Disney World Resort to make them aware of the closure of this experience and to give them an opportunity to choose an alternative pirate cruise option. All other recreation activities at the resort will remain the same.

Guests may still enjoy three pirate adventures that take place on the waterways of Walt Disney World Resort. Each excursion is kids-only and takes place daily (weather permitting) from 9:30-11:30 a.m. These include:

Disney’s Pirate Adventure – Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
Crossing Bay Lake and Seven Seas Lagoon, this pirate cruise treats kids to a reading of "The Legend of Gasparilla"—a real Florida pirate. Departs from the Marina at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.

Islands of the Caribbean Pirate Cruise – Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort
Buccaneers sail the Ports of the Caribbean waters, as they hear the story of Old Port Royale and its pirate-laden past. Departs from Barefoot Bay Bike Works at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort.

Albatross Treasure Cruise – Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resort
Kids hear "The Legend of the Albatross" and search for pirate booty across Crescent Lake and Epcot park’s World Showcase Lagoon. Departs from Bayside Marina at Disney's Yacht & Beach Club Resort.
