Universal Reveals Details About Volcano Bay Annual Passes

After (patiently) waiting for months to know just how much Guests will have to pay to get into Universal's Volcano Bay, the Universal Orlando Resort finally unveiled more details about the annual passes that will include this new water park. Not surprisingly, all of the existing annual passes will remain unchanged and will still allow Guests to enjoy the two theme parks (blockout dates may apply). All of those passes (Seasonal, Power, Preferred, and Premier) will soon also be available as 3-park annual passes.

The updated website of the Universal Orlando Resort now includes the following information:

2-Park Passes grant access to Universal Studios Florida and Universal's Islands of Adventure during select times of the year. 3-Park Passes grant access to Universal Studios Florida, Universal's Islands of Adventure and the all-new Universal’s Volcano Bay during select times of year.

BLOCKOUT DATES:
With the sole exception of the 3-Park Premier Annual Passholders (who will receive a full year of park-to-park admission to all three parks with no blockout dates), 3-Park Seasonal/Power/Preferred Annual Passholders will have some blockout dates. Be sure to note that blockout dates may change without notice.

In addition to that, Universal Orlando confirmed that a one-day Volcano Bay ticket will cost $67. The 1-Day Volcano Bay Ticket entitles one (1) guest admission to Universal’s Volcano Bay™ on any one (1) day. Ticket is valid starting May 25, 2017. The ticket will expire in full on the expiration date printed on ticket.

  1. Will the 3 onsite hotels included Express passes work at Volcano Bay?

  2. I would have considered it if the express pass feature of the Premier Pass worked at Volcano Bay. As it does not, I can't justify paying an extra $150 a year when I already have 2 Disney parks and 2 Sea World parks included with my theme park year passes. It's money I can't justify spending.
