One-Day Quick-Service Meal Plan Test at Magic Kingdom


Beginning Jan. 12 through Feb. 22, all Guests visiting the Magic Kingdom Park will be able to purchase a one-day quick-service meal plan as part of the Disney Dine-on-the-Go test. As part of this meal plan, Guests will receive certificates (both adult and kids certificates will be available for purchase) redeemable at participating quick-service locations. The Disney Dine-on-the-Go plan may only be purchased at the park's Vacation Planning booths and at Guest Relations.


The Disney Dine-on-the-Go will include the following:
  • One lunch quick-service meal that includes one (1) entrée and one (1) non-alcoholic single-serving beverage (may be used only until 4 p.m.). Dessert is not included in the meal.
  • One dinner quick-service meal that includes one (1) entrée and one (1) non-alcoholic single-serving beverage (may be used from 4 p.m. until close). Dessert is not included in the meal.
This test will take place only at the following Magic Kingdom QSR locations:
  • Casey’s Corner
  • Columbia Harbour House
  • Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café
  • Pecos Bill’s Tall Tale Inn and Café
  • Pinocchio Village Haus
  • Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant

Price is $29.00 for adults, and $12.00 for kids (ages 3 to 9). Price subject to change without notice.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Can certificates be redeemed at other locations or in other parks?
No. The Disney Dine-on-the-Go meal certificates may be used only at select locations in Magic Kingdom Park. Participating locations are listed on the back of the certificate.

Can Guests purchase Disney Dine-on-the-Go at QSR locations?
No. Guests may purchase Disney Dine-on-the-Go only at Magic Kingdom Vacation Planning booths and Magic Kingdom Guest Relations.

Can unredeemed certificates be used on a different date than when they were issued?
The certificates may be used on or within 14 days of the date stamped on the certificate only at Magic Kingdom Park. Guests must have valid theme park tickets/passes as park entrance is not included.

Can a dinner certificate be used for lunch, and vice versa?
The certificate must be used during the times specified. Lunch certificates may be used only until 4 p.m., and dinner certificates may be used only after 4 p.m.

Can a child certificate be used for an adult lunch/dinner?
A child certificate may only be redeemed for a child’s lunch/dinner.

  1. The key variable will be price, right? There's no point in purchasing one of these unless it's cheaper than buying the two entrées and beverages separately.

  2. Soft drinks are $3.29 each, so at $29 for the new dining certificates, it's only "worth it" if each entree is over $11.21. If you order corn dog nuggets both times and 2 sodas, it wouldn't be worth it.

  3. The $29 price appears to be inclusive of tax. When the do the math that way and order the cheapest beverage (milk at $1.99), you only need to hit $11.66 to break even. If you have soda, the break even point becomes $10.36.

    It's pretty easy to hit those prices. For example, 16 of the 17 lunch entrees at Cosmic Ray's Starlight Café are $11.99 or more. The only one that isn't is chicken nuggets at $9.99.

    So, if you drink soda and avoid Casey's Corner, making this work for you isn't tough.
