Guests walking around this charming area will notice that there are no nets to be seen anywhere along the way (which is great news, especially since a number of nets were installed in other areas after a "branch" of the tree fell). Additionally, Guests can get a good view of the kangaroos from this area of the theme park.
Disney's Animal Kingdom is one of our favorite theme parks:
Here you are a few photos that we have taken around the Tree of Life Garden:
The Paroon Shark Catfish are back:
Plenty of rockwork and tree roots can be seen along the way:
The Tree of Life Garden is a great place to take up-close photos of the park's icon:
Continuing our tour:
Here's the kangaroo exhibit:
The Ring-Tailed Lemurs can be seen at the other end of the pathway:
Sadly, they were nowhere to be found yesterday afternoon:
Let's take a quick look around the entrance of the future AVATAR-themed land:
When Animal Kingdom originally opened, the pathway that is now the Tree of Life Garden, was originally the queue for "It's Tough to be a Bug". I seem to recall that guests had a difficult time finding the entrance to the attraction as it was halfway to Africa, so the entrance was eventually moved to it's present location.
Absolutely beautiful! I have been waiting so long for something as simple as a nature/walking trail to open back up, after years of waiting. I cannot wait to explore these trails soon. Something as simple as this is why I love Disney's Animal Kingdom.
