DVC Safari Spectacular Coming Soon to Animal Kingdom


Disney Vacation Club is celebrating its 25th anniversary with new happenings for DVC Members, including the Disney Vacation Club 25 and Beyond Bash, an exclusive after-hours event at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, and more.
The Animal Kingdom event will be hosted Sept. 6, 13, 22 and 27. Those Guests that will be attending the DVC Safari Spectacular event will start mixing into the park each evening at 7 p.m. and will then remain in the park until midnight. 


Guests will have access to select attractions, be able to purchase food at Flame Tree Barbecue, meet select Disney characters, and shop in select stores. Guests attending the event will wear wristbands.

Check-in/ Wristband distribution:
Although some Guests may arrive with wristbands from their DVC resort, beginning at 7 p.m., wristbands can also be picked up at Main Entrance. For Guests already in the park, the Dawa Bar will distribute wristbands beginning at 5:30 p.m.

  1. It doesn't seem like this could be a free DVC perk, even though the article doesn't say anything about costs.

  2. I just find that these DVC events are not well thought out. I make my DVC reservations 11 months in advance and no mention of any events in August. Seems that August is the forgotten month. So glad I bought a guaranteed week in August at the Poly besides my other points. DVC, you listening: You needed to do something every week of the year. You have DVC members traveling every week and you are pissing many off. One DVC lounge in one park doesn't cut it.

  3. I wish I knew about these well in advance. I would've loved to attend, but I don't arrive until Sept. 30th. I was also in WDW Aug 22-26th. I would've altered my dates to attend if I'd known!
