PinQuest Scavenger Hunt Debuts at Magic Kingdom Park


Magic Kingdom Guests can now participate in a new pin scavenger hunt called "PinQuest" where Guests find and collect a series of limited-release pins as they search for clues around the park. Inspired by the steampunk styles of the early 20th century, Guests have to use a map and decoder to solve clues that allow them to collect and purchase a series of seven limited-release trading pins.
PinQuest will certainly prove to be unique way for Guests to explore the park.




There are three basic components of the PinQuest collection:
  • Adventure Kit starter set: Contains a lanyard, lanyard pouch, clue decoder accessory and map and retails at $14.99. A Guest must first purchase a starter set in order to purchase any other components of PinQuest. The clue decoder and map will help a participant identify participating locations where they can purchase clue cards and pins.
  • Clue Cards and pins: Once a participant has located one of the participating stores at Magic Kingdom Park, they may purchase a clue card retailing at $9.99. The clue card contains a multiple choice question, and the answer can be found by exploring décor within the store. After solving, Guests are given a pin specific to that location. Each pin is designed with a Disney character and a code around its circumference that can be decoded to identify the next clue location on the map.
  • Completer QuestEAR pin: If a Guest chooses to purchase and solve all six clue cards at Magic Kigdom Park, they can visit Curtain Call Collectibles on Main Street, U.S.A., or Trading Post in Frontierland to unscramble the final riddle. There, they may choose to purchase the final pin, known as the QuestEAR pin. Guests must have solved all six clues be eligible to purchase the pin. The QuestEAR pin retails at $4.99.


Participating merchandise locations at Magic Kingdom Park are: Big Top Souvenirs, Storybook Circus; Briar Patch, Frontierland; Curtain Call Collectibles, Main Street, U.S.A.; Fantasy Faire, Fantasyland; Trading Post, Frontierland; Tomorrowland Light and Power Company.
