As reported in the past, two of the most iconic water slides of Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park have had quite a few issues in the past months, forcing them to remain closed for an extended period of time. As of today, the Slush Gusher and Summit Plummet attractions are still closed for maintenance. Both slides are expected to be unavailable until at least May 6, 2016, but it would surely not be surprising to hear that they could remain closed for a few more weeks.

Perhaps the concrete base has cracked and they can't repair it without disassembling the mountain. But I digress!

In all seriousness, I know it's a plumbing issue but this is the downside to building artificial mountains around all the support structures of attractions.

Did anyone see a Yeti?
