Animal Kingdom Update: Rivers of Light & More (PART 1)


Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park currently has many ongoing construction projects around all of its themed areas. This amazing park will look even better in the near future thanks to the new dining locations, shops, and entertainment offerings coming to Discovery Island, the nighttime safari, the refurbished Flights of Wonder theater, Rivers of Light, AVATAR Land, and much more.

  2. I wonder if the theater area will be ultimately themed and named as an ancient temple of some kind. That would fit into the Everest region and culture, while esthetically softening the mental/visual edges quite a bit

  4. Yeah, I heard it will be open by April 22nd as well, with soft openings/testings as early as March.

  6. What time will the show be? Trying to see if we can see the show then go to dinner at the Rainforest cafe?

  7. Not sure of the time, but assume after dusk, considering there are lights and other multimedia effect happening. Along with some water and fire effects.
