Universal Studios Update: Fallon, Fast & Furious, and More

Universal Studios Florida is seeing a lot of action in these days. In addition to the removal of Twister and Disaster!, another park offering closed its gates to Guests just a couple of days ago. Moreover, work continues to take place near Despicable Me: Minion Mayhem and Hollywood Boulevard. And that's not all.
This morning we will take you back to the park (virtually, of course) and point out some of the changes that we have noticed during our last visit. Enjoy the tour!

First of all, work on the new Hello Kitty store continues along Hollywood Boulevard:

A new building has appeared next to the Universal Studios Store:

It houses equipment used at Despicable Me - Minion Mayhem:

The new building has the same appearance as the nearby Universal Studios Store:

A "Stationary Seating Only" entrance is currently available at Despicable Me - Minion Mayhem:

Crowds flooding into the park's main street after the 5:00 p.m. parade:

Work on the new Race Through New York starring Jimmy Fallon attraction continues:

The covered queue next to the building is gone:

The New York City library facade has been completely refurbished:

Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit:

The last performance of the Graveyard Revue took place last Tuesday:

The future Fast & Furious attraction:

We never noticed this Portofino Bay Resorts Sales Office before:

London:

The Simpsons area:

The former photo point has been replaced by more midway games:

The area in front of the Cafe La Bamba is now reserved for VIP tours:

And that is all for now. Before concluding, remember to like us on our official Facebook page and follow us on Twitter for live updates from the parks. 2. Minions is now closed for refurbishment until the 12th when it opens back up. Literally, walls are up around the building

  3. Is the "former photo point" in Springfield the place where you'd sit on the couch with a green screen? Why would they get rid of that?

  5. ^35 million visitors a year, regular revenue and profit increases, and Universal/Comcast has no idea what they are doing?

I shudder to think what would happen if they had a clue.

  6. Trent so right.

Theme parks designed and run by the vocal dis/uni forums crowd would be profitless holes of entitlement.

Kind of like our national government.
