Fun Spot America continues to grow every year, and it looks like the future of this ever-changing amusement park is even brighter than we thought.
In fact, while there were numerous announcements about minor expansions of the Orlando location in the past few years, it appears that the park has finally settled for a much grander project that will include many new themed rides and attractions, including more coasters, a skyway, water play areas, and more.

Earlier today, the official blog of Fun Spot America announced that the park is currently working with Falcon’s Creative Group to design "a long range plan and dreams for the future of Fun Spot America."

The blog post adds that "Fun Spot America Theme Parks is a name in the making. We are constantly growing and we have one ultimate theme, Americana. We want to continue to give you, our guests, the best guest experience we are able to offer. We’ve read your reviews, heard your wishes and took that all into consideration. While these are just plans, we'll continue to offer and hope to bring more memorable moments our guests as we continue to grow. We thank you all for your support all of these years!"

Here is the official announcement that was made earlier this morning, from

Falcon’s Creative Group is excited to announce our involvement in the design of a new long range development master plan for Fun Spot Orlando.

“It was a special experience to work with Fun Spot. Their passion for their guests and team is so inspirational. The new master plan will give guests a chance to step into different eras and experiences all under one ultimate storyline, Americana. We are very excited to see Fun Spot grow in the upcoming years and make an impact in the Orlando theme park community,” says Designer, Brandi Monard.

The proposed master plan includes six new themes that will be applied across the entire park. These themes were brought to life by Falcon’s in an effort to create thematic narratives that will transport guests to classic American past and present time periods. The goal was to enhance the park’s current family fun experience and create new areas that contribute to the Fun Spot brand. The future expansion will continue to bring fresh and exciting experiences to Fun Spot guests.

“It was important for us to help sculpt Fun Spot’s vision to build upon their existing brand and personality, while elevating their offerings to guests locally and around the world,” says Creative Director, Joshua Adcock. The expansion of Fun Spot Orlando is set to take place in the coming years, and will also incorporate new food and beverage partners, coasters, water rides, and much more.

I love Fun Spot! a park that constantly punches above its weight, especially against the massive competition of Disney and Universal. I wish them every success with these ambitious plans!

Good basic fun without all the bs.
And for many people this place is light years ahead of anything they have "back home " and enough to satisfy.
