Florida Cup Event Returning to ESPN Wide World of Sports


The Florida Cup returns to the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex January 10-20, drawing international soccer teams and their legions of fans from around the globe to Central Florida. Doubling in size for 2016, the 10-day tournament, played around several cities in Florida, will feature popular South American and European soccer teams, such as SC Corinthians, Fluminese FC, as well as top clubs from Brazil, Germany, Colombia, and Ukraine.


Given soccer’s widespread appeal and as the second most popular sport at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, Florida Cup is one of several prestigious soccer events at the Complex. ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex is busy year round with events for soccer enthusiasts at every level − from learning camps for beginners, and clinics and competition for youth, to training camps for national and professional players.
