Universal Studios Update: Hello Kitty, Farewell to Twister

Universal Studios Florida is going through yet another major transformation that will include the introduction of many new attractions and experiences.
Early next year, a new Hello Kitty-themed store will open in the building formerly occupied by Lucy: A Tribute. In 2017, the park will welcome the Race Through New York Starring Jimmy Fallon ride as well as Fast & Furious: Supercharged. And that's just the beginning. Come with us and take a look around the park:

Welcome to Universal Studios Florida:

Our fits stop will be the future Hello Kitty themed store:

New posters and cutouts have been installed on the construction walls surrounding the building:

The new posters include obvious references to some of Universal's most recognizable movies:

Some work is being done on the exterior of the building itself:

Yesterday evening didn't feel busy at all:

A new building is taking shape right across from the queue of Despicable Me - Minion Mayhem:

Heading toward the former Twister attraction:

The awnings of the buildings have been demolished:

Themed construction walls are better than unthemed construction walls, right?:

A few more photos of the building:

AFTER:

Work continues on the new Fast & Furious attraction in the San Francisco area of the park:

More themed construction walls:

Let's take a quick look inside the Williams of Hollywood prop shop before leaving the park:

Another cow from Twister - Ride It Out! is now being sold at the location:

A closer look at the cow:

The letters of the former "Aftermath" store are also available for purchase:

And that is all for now. Before concluding, remember to like us on our official Facebook page and follow us on Twitter for live updates from the parks. 1. It looks like a real twister went through there now. Or maybe it just was the extreme blowing from Jimmy Fallon.

  5. Love the first comment, I hate the idea of a Jimmy Fallon ride mostly because as my fellow ANON said.. he blows.
