The BlackMINE Group Releases New iSquare Mall Images

The BlackMINE Group recently received the approval of the redesigned iSquare Project, which will include two major 5-star hotels and a Lifestyle Mall containing over 350,000 square feet. This ambitious project also recently reached another major milestone, the approval by the City Council for the included Helipad at an elevation of 400 feet. The iSquare Mall (located below the hotels) is expected to become a World-Class Mall, targeting shoppers from all over the world.

The BlackMINE Group has recently signed an agreement with Retail Street Advisors of Dallas, Texas to provide marketing and leasing expertise for the iSquare Mall to identify and capture major luxury retailers from all around the world. The retail space as currently designed includes approximately 350,000 square feet of leasable space on multiple levels in the Mall, with concourses that will connect all portions of the retail-parking garage. The iSquare Mall will have a major street level presence along both International Drive and Kirkman Road.

Some of the artworks included below were released just a few weeks ago by The BlackMINE Group:

Preliminary subsurface testing has been undertaken by Terracon Consultants, Inc. and the iSquare Project is expected to break ground in the spring of 2016 and scheduled to open in early 2018.

  1. Oh Purty :) Reminds me of what the Contemporary might be if it were to have been built in 2016. I see some architecture there that was definitely influenced by both it and BLT.

  2. Its an eye sore and would ruin the look of i-drive. I-drive to me is a great place to stay and nothing really intruding on the sky line and needs to stay that way. This is way too big and unless they put it a way back from i-drive it is going to to bad.

  3. But Is there not a new Giant Wheel on I-Drive, Orlando Eye, and then SkyPlex under development. With the Skyscraper Coaster.

  4. Whether we like it or not, as population and tourism to Orlando increases, so will the structures to support this influx. This area was well on its way to becoming citified as soon as they passed permits for building the Orlando Eye complex.

  5. "Ruin the look of I-Drive?" It's replacing Best Brazil and a strip mall. If anything, this will give the area a boost.

  6. This mall definitely will have its own niche in Orlando! Orlando needs something like this besides Millenia. It will also be closer to the theme parks. (Universal is just on the other side of I4 and Disney is only about 5 miles) Looking forward to it!

  8. Paul says its an eyesore???

I can understand based the drawings, the place looks like a dump (lol). The area needs more strip centers and gas stations and Timeshare stands.
