Bus Route Changes Around the Walt Disney World Resort

The Walt Disney World Resort is constantly trying to enhance the services that are available to Guests visiting the area, including the free bus service.
For this reason, some adjustments continue to be made on a regular basis to test new bus routes that may be more convenient for Guests staying at certain Disney resort hotels. The following list includes some of the latest changes (as always, be sure to note that these adjustments may be altered without notice).

New Routing for Port Orleans–Riverside
New routing has begun at Disney's Port Orleans Resort–Riverside. Service from Riverside to all 4 theme parks will begin at West depot then proceed to North, East, and South all day. Disney Springs buses will service the South depot immediately after the first stop at the French Quarter.

Morning Bus Operation Changes
Service from Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort to Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios is now split. Service from Disney's BoardWalk Resort, Swan, and Dolphin to Animal Kingdom is split to service BoardWalk separately. Both of these changes are for the morning operation only; service will recombine during the afternoon.

Disney’s Yacht Club Resort Bus Stop Re-location
Now–Dec. 18: The bus stop at the Yacht Club has moved to the Convention Center porte-cochere.

  1. We usually stay at the Beach Club when we stay on property. It's frustrating when you have to take a bus (to the water parks and/or Animal Kingdom, which are sometimes the same bus line), the busses have to stop at many resorts (Boardwalk, Swan, Dolphin, Yacht Club, Beach Club). It can take over an hour to get back if you're the last stop, which Beach Club often is. Would be very nice if they could add more busses so we could go directly between our resort and our destination and not have to stop so many times.

  2. The Epcot resorts haven't had to share bus service with all resorts for a few years with the exception of DTD, now Disney Springs. YC/BC have their own bus, and BWI shares with Swan/Dolphin.
