Disney Springs Parking Lots to Be Renamed This Month

Starting from today (Friday, November 6), work will begin to rename the parking lots of Disney Springs. The new names, themed to many different Florida-grown fruits, will fit the overall storyline that is carried throughout Disney Springs.
Parking lots A,K,L,M,N,O,P,Q will soon be known as Lemon, Mango, Grapefruit, Watermelon, and Strawberry, in addition to the new Orange and Lime garages. Signage is expected to be installed in different phases over the next two weeks.

Here is a map showing the "freshly picked" names and locations (click here for the full-size version):

  1. They should add more shops and restaurants over by the Strawberry parking lot. I don't think I've ever seen this area being used, so I'd assume it's only used during the busiest times of the year when it's actually needed, otherwise I don't see why people would want to park that far away from the rest of Disney Springs. Now if there was another area by that lot as a means to shop and dine in, then that would be an ideal place to park.

  2. Not sure that's a good idea. Sure, they fit, but fruits are so common in our vocab that it can be easy to forget which lot you're in.
