Magic Kingdom Update: Castle Ramps Construction

Our own Photographer Alex is back today with some great photos of the Magic Kingdom Park, showing the work being done around the central hub as well as some of the minor projects that are taking place in other lands of the park.
As you will see, all the new pathways in the central plaza of the park are now open to Guests, with the exception of the two castle ramps, which are still under construction. Enjoy this tour of the park (a new camera was used this time!).

Welcome to the Magic Kingdom Park:

Walking down Main Street, U.S.A. is always a pleasure:

The new themed kiosks located next to the expanded walkways have some amazing details:

The beautiful castle towers are just as beautiful:

It's time to focus on the castle ramps:

The construction of the new Skipper Canteen continues in Adventureland:

A close look at the existing building:

Pirates of the Caribbean still shows outrageous wait times:

This is unbelievable:

The refurbishment of the facade of Country Bear Jamboree continues:

Over in Fantasyland, the roof over the entrance of Mickey's Philarmagic is also receiving attention:

The facade of Castle Couture is still behind a scrim:

  2. It may be an optical illusion but, it appears the castle ramps have been rebuilt with a more gentle slope. If so, I'm sure many guests will appreciate that.

  4. Miguel,

I've walked through the castle a few years ago. Once the ramps are finished should be able to walk through, as long as there isn't a show on the Castle stage. Given there is a show every hour or so from 10 to 5ish there isn't much time when it is open unfortuantly.
