King Kong Project Update: More Scaffolding Appears

The new King Kong land continues to take shape at Islands of Adventure. While a big section of the scaffolding that was around the humongous facade came down last week, more temporary structures and tarps recently appeared in front of the new arch that will soon welcome Guests into the new realm of Kong.
Today, we will bring you back to the park to visually check out the progress that has been done since the last time we stopped by the area. Enjoy the photo-tour.

Let's begin by taking a look at the area from the entrance plaza of Toon Lagoon:

The entrance arch for the new land is now behind tarps:

The back of the building is also behind tarps now:

  1. I do hope that they plant lots of trees around the ride to make it more exotic and mysterious looking.

  2. The way Universal Creative has done their most recent attractions, I'm sure they will theme this to the max. Lots of trees and mist effects will make it look superb.
