After park hours on Monday, April 13, work will begin to take place on the Tree of Life at Disney's Animal Kingdom. The crew will access the area next to the flamingo exhibit (flamingos are not present in the exhibit at this time) and will perform the work during the night for the first week. Beginning April 20, work will be conducted during the day. Work is expected to continue through June.
Current rumors point to the possible replacement/upgrade of the tree's leaves.
