Amphicar Training Begins at The BOATHOUSE Restaurant

Guests visiting the Downtown Disney area may notice new, unique watercraft making waves on Lake Buena Vista. The BOATHOUSE has begun training for these new “amphicars” that will be available when the restaurant opens on April 13. Guests will soon be able to book a 20-minute amphicar tour on the lake. Piloted by a boat captain, these amphicars accommodate parties of up to three for $100. Reservations will be available beginning in mid-May.

    20 minute ride on these silly cars, or a full-day pass at one of the parks? I think I'll choose the latter.

    But the $100 charge is for up to 3 people, not per person. So, really, it's ~$33.33.
