Universal Studios Update: Villas Project Proceeding Slowly

After having seen multiple sections of Universal Studios Florida closed at once for months, it feels strange to see very little taking place around the park.
Currently, the only two areas behind walls are the Garden of Allah Villas and the candy store located in the New York City backlot, and neither of these can be considered exciting projects. That said, there's much more coming to the park in the next few years. Let's take a look around the park while we wait...

Let's start by taking a quick look around Production Central:

Twister is still operating:

Work continues in New York:

The rest of the area looks great:

The Garden of Allah Villas area:

Behind the walls:

Notice the major work being done on the right side of the building:

A few more photos of the rest of the park:

Exiting the park:

There was a huge amount of people walking around right before sunset:

That should be all for now. Thank you as always for your support, and see you again real soon.

  2. Great update! If it isn't a problem, I just wanted to know something: what is your opinion on Despicable Me: Minion Mayhem? I know that you guys weren't too fond of Jimmy Neutron, so what do you think of Despicable Me? Personally, I love the ride but what do you guys think?

  3. @Matthew: We actually think that Despicable Me - Minion Mayhem is a great attraction. It's just the capacity and the fact that the majority of the ride building is not themed that bothers us a little.
