Disney's Art of Animation Pools Refurbishment (2015)

In the coming weeks, Guests staying at Disney's Art of Animation Resort will notice some temporary walls around The Big Blue Pool (the main pool area) and Flippin' Fins Pool (located in the Little Mermaid themed section of the hotel). These pools are scheduled to be closed to Guests for a couple of days in mid-January while the pool decks are re-caulked and deep cleaned. Guests should be receiving communication about the temporary closures prior to their arrival.

Here's a quick overview of the refurbishment schedule (impacting the week between Jan. 12-16, 2015):

• The Big Blue Pool will be closed for refurbishment from Monday, January 12, through Wednesday, January 14. The pool will reopen to Guests on Thursday, January 15.
• The Flippin’ Fins Pool will be closed for refurbishment Thursday, January 15, and Friday, January 16. The pool is expected to reopen for Guests on Saturday, January 17.

During the downtime, Guests may use the other pools at Disney's Art of Animation Resort or any of the pools at Disney's Pop Century Resort. Guests with questions or concerns should contact the front desk.
