Magic Kingdom Hub Update: Moat Construction (PART 2)

Welcome to PART 2 of our newest Magic Kingdom hub photo-report, Orlando Theme Park News Readers. PART 1 can be found by clicking here.
In the previous part of this update, we took a detailed look around the majority of the west side of the park's central hub, where - as you will have noticed - most of the work is currently taking place. Let's now continue to walk around the area; afterwards, we will move on to the east side and the Main Street U.S.A. bypass:

More permanent walls are being built around the east side of the hub:

Finally, here's a quick look at the current status of the work being done in the Main Street bypass:

And that is all for now. As usual, remember to like us on our official Facebook page and follow us on Twitter for live updates from the parks. 1. I dont think the light post will have speakers. That space is definitely going to be used for displaying more Magic Bands.

  2. Any idea if they are opening both sides at the same time or one at a time? One side seems so far into it while the other seems like it just started

  3. I'd take out-of-place lights anyday, heck I'd take a giant 200ft Magic Band in place of The Sorcerer's Hat if it meant AVATAR was canceled and something better was built in its place.

  4. How can you say 'something better that Avatar' when it hasn't even been built yet? Disney and James Cameron will surely not disappoint..
