Universal Studios Update: All Continues to Be Quiet

Hello everyone, and welcome to our newest Universal Studios photo-report. Today we are going to take a look around this park to check out the minor work that is being done around the area. In addition to that, we will again take a look around the KidZone, which is rumored to be closing soon (Twister is also closing soon, but we will have a separate photo-update for that attraction in the near future). Let us embark on this virtual tour of the park:

Production Central:

The Despicable Me attraction continues to prove very popular:

Transformers:

New York City:

The Blues Brothers really engage Guests with their music and comedy:

Moving on:

The waterfront:

San Francisco:

The beautiful trees around the London waterfront continue to showcase their fall colors:

World Expo:

Krustyland and Springfield:

Passports are still missing from the E.T. Adventure, as well as the Standby and Express signs:

Time to tour the rest of the KidZone:

The area in general looks very dated. We would absolutely love to see a "How to Train Your Dragon" themed area replace the KidZone (or anything else, really). We know it is not going to happen...

While some of the characters represented in this area are still relevant, all needs to be updated:

Hollywood:

And that is all for now. Before concluding, remember to like us on our official Facebook page and follow us on Twitter for live updates from the parks. 1. While I too would love to see a "How to Train Your Dragon" themed area replacement for Kidzone, Uni can now only use DreamWorks IP in their Asian parks. The most likely replacement I see for Kidzone would be a "Bikini Bottom" themed land based off the SpongeBob SquarePants franchise.

  2. Oh boy, a spammer!

If it had to be, I'd be down to see a Bikini Bottom land, even if it meant closing ET down.

  3. Nooooooooooooooo... E.T. must stay forever. Even though it has those creepy doll face "friends" of his, the baby E.T.'s are soon ooh cute!

  4. When is Kidzone closing?
What day will Universal announce the closing?
