SeaWorld Rescue Team Passes 1,000-Animal Milestone


This month, the SeaWorld and Busch Gardens wildlife rescue teams passed a milestone, having rescued more than 1,000 wild animals this year alone, bringing the total number of animals they have helped over the years to 24,000. These are orphaned newborns, entangled whales, and sea lions that were injured. Among the 1,000 was one of the most unusual cases: a pregnant shark.
